RULE
#1) Parents are always the ones that get to make the rules
#2) Parents pay the bills and have to be responsible for everything everyone in the household does
#3) Parents live with the responsibility of making you do the right thing, even if you don't see it at the time; because they LOVE YOU,
#4) Parents have to live through your "I KNOW EVERYTHING" time and try not to murder you or warp your little personalities
#5) Parents are always right because of 1,2,3,&4 above
#6) If you think your parents are wrong read #5 above
#7) and last Parents may not always be right but they are always the Parents

Probably because they aren't. They have a lot more experience than you do and are trying to save you the heartbreak that they themselves suffered through.
