Yes I have noticed and I am glad. I may slam the Yankees but it's all in good fun. You guys are a good team but the odds just rolled in our favor this year.

People who use the excuse 'it's all in good fun' should remember -- it's sports. So use sportsmanship once in a while. The Red Sox are great. You can't fluke for 162 games, you can't come back from 3-1 and be in the World Series by accident, and even Yankee fans ought to tip their hats, as they've been doing. Next year, if the Red Sox don't make it, they should try to be gracious. Everyone should, a little bit. Kids learn from your actions and you are all ready to bash players with poor sportsmanship. Just remember, it starts at home.

Yankees fans are showing respect, but not a lot.

Come next season and the Yankees will be ranting the Red Sox.

Anybody worth calling a Yankee fan would hate the Red Sox and their fans.

I'll chime in here because I absolutely HATE Alex Rodriguez. I hope the Yankees never win as long as he is in New York and win the year after he leaves. He showed just how immature he is a few years back (in the playoffs) when he actaully tried to knock the ball out of the first baseman's glove when he realized that he was going to be out and his team wasn't going to win. I have never seen such a sore loser in all my life. I will never have respect for him no matter what he accomplishes.

No I have not...but I was not looking for it either!

I hear your Yankees are contemplating giving A Rod 25 million or more for another 9 years.

This is how hardcore Yankee fans are. When we lose, we drink our winters away and wait for Spring to come around. It's okay, I'm hurting too.

"See? Not all of us totally suck!!!" isn't the best defensive argument for Yankee fen to employ if suing for peace.

Forty years in the baseball desert (which would work out to, oh, three consecutive seasons of dark Octobers).

You all need it.

Yes, the nice ones are staying and doing that. But you're forgetting the dozens of nasty ones that aren't logging on anymore. If they were here, it would still be a blood-bath.
