Also why is I(-) a better nucleophile than F(-) in protic solvents?

Sn1 reactions procede by way of carbocations as intermediates. Protic solvents facilitate formation of carbocations. I(-) is certainly a better nucleophile than Cl(-). F(-) is utterly strange. Maybe fid out and let us know.
