for ps3, will it have similar online gaming as rainbow six vegas? like when you get promoted to new ranks and unlock equipments and outfit. or is it like call of duty 3 where you always start out as a private? sources would be great

I heard that the story follows two sergeants, British, and American, so I'm guessing since the are referred to as sergeants, then don't get promoted. But I think its gonna be a great game, the storyline, seems very good, taking place in Russia, and the Middle-east. I hear nothing but good things about the game, and I'm definatly gonna buy it! I got (just ordered online, and its being shipped) PS3, so I'll hopefully see u online playing COD4!

you don't unlock anything online, sadly. once u join a match and play, you'll rank up depending on how many kills u get. but after any match ends, ur rank will be reset once again, so it doesn't do much at all.
