Don't mess around and waste your time, go and rent a proper carpet shampoo machine with upholstery attachments and do the whole interior, anything you spray on and rub will just move the dirts around and force it into the fabric, a proper shampoo will loosen and suck out the dirt.

If it's in your budget have your car detailed. Do a search for your area. They can have your car looking new for $100- $200. They can buff out scratches, polish it to make it shine, shampoo the interior, wash your windows and even have it smelling nice. I detail cars on the east coast, sometimes it's best to leave it to a pro. I'm not saying you can't do it yourself mind you, it's just alot of work requiring many cleaning chemicals and procedures.

This is probably the greatest product for cleaning car interiors. It's called "303 Rug / Upholstery Cleaner & Spot Remover." If this won't do the job nothing will! Here's more info: http://www.properautocare.com/303rugclean3.html

Agood start is to take a shop vac through it. And I dont know of any cleaning solutions but you want to watch out that you wash all the soap out or else the stain could attrack more dirt and grime. Also depends on the stain for a certin cleaning substance.
