When I complained how stressful getting prepared for our wedding was, my h-2-b said all you got to do is wear a dress and say I do,that's it. He said 'I would just enjoy it, in your position'. So I put him up to it to actually be a bride too. He'll get his own made to measure dress to make him look great and what's even better it was his idea originally. Guys should be warned not to talk the talk because it may get you in the end!

Well done! However you do realise that brides do bring alot of stress upon themselves for that 'perfect day.'

I say screw perfection! We got married by the beach with just our parents present then threw a party after our honeymoon.

You sound like a fun person.

You're wasting a lot of money making him get a made-to-order wedding dress just to make a point. You know what will happen? He'll just take the dress as is and not care how it looks on him. You're the one who care about looking perfect - he doesn't care.

If you're interested in making the experience more stressful you'll have to include body waxing, plucking eyebrows, earrings, make-up, etc.. Forcing him to walk in heels is always painful. And don't forget a wig, and associated undergarments. Be creative about how to make it more stressful.

You're husband must be a great sport for doing this. Tell him how much you appreciate his willingness to understand what you go through. Then take lots of pictures. They will prove useful for future reference.

Hmmm. I don't know if you realize what you are setting yourself up for here...

To begin with, unless your H2B was trying to provoke you into "making" him wear a dress in which case he might be a crossdresser (which is perfectly ok), he was very insensitive to you to suggest that a bride is only about wearing a dress and saying I do.

For a Bride, that wedding day is usually the culmination of a thousand fantasies and dreams of how she wants her day to be. It is supposed to be the perfect day. So she will stress. She will want to know that the tiniest detail from the flowers to the guests to the seating to the pictures to the flowers in her hair to the stitching of her lingerie is perfect.

As for you enjoying him wearing the dress. I hope it goes with your dreams of your perfect day. Who knows you might have an excellent relationship where you end up always putting him in dresses.

I know I would like that :)

Sounds great. Not had a chance to dress a boyfriend as a bride yet.

There is a very sexy blonde girl at work, today she is wearing a sexy grey dress, black tights and black shoes and her make up is perfect. She was a pretty normal boring boy until I got my hands on her!

Haha, that's hilarious.

I was talking to my girlfriend about weddings the other day, and we almost got into an argument about how hard it was to be a bride. I hate to think what would have happened if I'd kept up the argument!
