if you getting a lot of white smoke, it's either the head or gasket..

Around that time (93) ford had a supplier problem with crap head gaskets on the 3.8 twin cam V6 so it could be just a bad head gasket. If you have the, Vulcan 3.0 OHV engine, then, I bet you a dime to a dollar that you have a cracked head. The 5.0 is rock solid so I could not tell you. The gasket kit is about 66$ for either V6 and I don’t know about the V-8

If I squatted on a mirror and looked at my ase, I guess I would start changing my exhaust manifold gasket to….. But I think that if I looked at my car I would look real close at the intake gasket when I took the thing apart. I did see one bad on a GM but that was 1 in 28 years
And lets face it there is no mistaking that smell of anti-freeze after the engine is hot and steaming out the tail pipe
