if you say "She won't win" enough times it will magically come true? Is that the strategy? Sort of like a prayer circle where a miraculous recovery happens because of the power of prayer. Hmm... Is that mantra, and relying on old unproven stories that people are already bored with, and calling her a socialist when no one believes that but the neocons, going to do the trick?
If that's going to be the extent of the Republican strategy to beat Hillary then they are in BIG trouble.
Okay - ATTACK, tell me what a devil she is. Tell me how the Republicans are going to beat Hillary Clinton.

You're kidding right? Is THIS the best you guys can do? Ad hominem attacks and silly assumptions? Wow, you really are in trouble.

You are relying on old numbers. Her negative numbers have steadily declined. Here, check it out for yourself, she's in the black on positives these days:

If that's the case then how on earth is she managing to win every state poll inbetween? Dodging reality is not going to help your case.

Don't attempt to put words in my mouth. I didn't say anything about her being "inevitable." And you better look around. Some answerers have already proved you wrong. They often say nothing BUT "she won't win."

Well, I don't agree with you about the socialism, I think it's little more than a nasty sounding catch phrase; but I do appreciate that you understand my point. That's all I'm saying. Don't say silly things like "she won't win" and think that's going to be enough, it won't. Or pretend that she isn't ahead in 99% of all polls, whether it's general election or party polls. Acknowledge the truth and then figure out what to do about it. I don't want to see her get beat. I think she'll make a fine President. But this "head in the sand" mentality of so many makes for a very poorly fought election, and I love politics enough to find that distressing. I like to see a good challenge fought by two worthy opponents. I hope something happens to make that a reality.

PNAC: Another mistake so many Republicans make. She is hardly Howard Dean. Dean came out of nowhere with no name recognition and caused a stir with his "fresh" approach. He sealed his own fate with that stupid war whoop, amazing as it seems.
Hillary is already a known quantity. She's not running on "fresh." That's Obama's schtick. And she's done this campaign thing a time or two. There won't be any lunatic sounding war whoops. She's far more intelligent than that.
Well, you work for the Republicans and I'll be working for Hillary. May the best candidate win.

You are right, nothing's a lock but something huge will have to happen for her not to get the nomination. But thinking that she's SO despised is part of the illusion I'm talking about. Her negatives have been decreasing steadily and her positives gaining. In the big Newsweek analysis back in July they determined that six months back 50% said they would never vote for her and by July it had dropped to 38%. When you guys said too many hated her even six months ago you were correct. That's not the case any more. Still believing that and counting on that to be the factor that beats her will lose the election for the Republicans. You heard it here first (lol).

I actually agree with you on this one. Republicans need a real conservative as a nominee. That person needs to point out he is for free enterprise, she is for government controlled socialism.
We beat her on ideas and running on a positive platform of freedom, liberty, less government, lower taxes, reduced spending, etc.
This was brought up by Newt Gingrich.

Hillary Clinton will be sworn in as President of the United States on 21 Jan 07. There is nothing the Republicans can do to stop it.
So the Republicans can whine all they want.

Vlad the impaler could be running for the democrats and the republicans still wouldn't win at this point. No matter how polarizing Hillary may or may not be, the republicans are even more polarizing to the dems and independents. President Bush with his stay the course policy in Iraq and every republican who parrots that stance is committing suicide at the polls.

Hillary will defeat Hillary. From de-feet in the mouth disease to greed for money and power that extends beyond even Bill's wildest dreams. Once the Primary is won she will be in a landslide of Campaign Ethic's Committee violations & warrants she will never over come. Forced to withdraw vs lose the Senate seat Gore/ Richardson will fill her shoes. Those are my educated thoughts. My prayers are for God's Will be done. Once he/she is ready I expect that there may be some pressing legal issues keeping Mrs. Clinton busy. Finally. Thank you.
You really no little about politics do you? But great idea and no attacks necessary. Not for adults anyway.
*ding edit: those Rasmussin (sp?) polls have John Mc Cain most likely to beat Hillary Clinton... That is probably what the Republican Party, I am a registered member of, will do.
Best you can do is to attempt to incite some kind of attack? Gimme a break no debate necessary if you do the research.

I am an independent, left leaning moderate according to the tests I have taken on various political sites.
I think Hillary is a total BS artist. She has blamed President Bush for not having armor that her husband refused to spend money on and for the deficit that her husband wrote the budget for. Hillary is a total BS artist who depends on voters being uneducated.
Aside from that, she belongs to the pro-slavery, anti-civil rights Democratic Party. Who, in their right mind and with an education could belong to a political party that historically supported slavery and opposed civil rights?
I can believe she was elected to the Senate in New York, after all New York almost seceded from the Union and in New York city they rioted against the war lynching blacks on street lamps.
I cannot believe that anyone with an education and an IQ over ten could elect Hillary to office.

Oh Elway dear, Hillary will win the nomination of the Democrat party, no doubt in my mind. She bought and paid for it.
But don't hold your breath during the elections. I am making a prediction that we will have a Republican voted into office again. Too many people despise Hillary. One thing for sure she has said, "I have millions of ideas, but you cannot afford them!"

I typically vote Democratic, but if she gets the nomination I'll vote for a third party or just stay home. She is a DINO, and there are many progressives just like me that don't want her to be President.

I've never said it but I'm sure it's less than believe that by saying Kerry had won...he automatically had. Remember all the trips we read about that the dem's had to take to their therapist.
Or use the "Bush lied" paranoia going on. These people really believe it's true because they've said it so often.
I do not know who will be president, I simply HOPE it will not be Hillary.

How about a non-emotional answer backed up by data.
The latest Zogbee and Rasmison polls say that approx. 50% of the LIKELY voters will absolutely not, under any circumstances vote for Hillery.
Is there any way she CAN win? Unless she runs against Bozo the clown?
