What kind of tricks can/could you perform with a yo-yo?

Question

I only know how to walk the dog! How about you? One time I tried to walk the dog with my yo-yo and it broke when it hit the floor!

i tried for 5 years to master the yo yo; i could walk the dog and the one where you hold the string in one hand, and let it go forward up in the air, backward and down to walk the dog i don't know the name of it.

very difficult i think

Oh, I have this REAL good trick I call the Stay. What I do is flip the yo-yo out of my hand and make it .....STAY....dangling near the floor. I'ma tellya...it takes great skill to make it stay there and not come back up! I've gotten quite good at it, in fact!

The only one I know is "watch the yo-yo go down and not come back up."
