This is an outrage and I am calling all Yankees fans, if they manage to get tickets for this rare occasion, to BOO THE LIVING CRAP ONCE THEY ANNOUNCE HIS NAME. And you know he is going to start Manny and Ortiz and Lowell if he makes it. It's just icing on the freaking cake to this horrible season. 2007 hurts more than 2004..

I'm sorry, but if you are not from New York or Boston, you have no idea how bad this rivalry is, how deep it runs. And if you do not live in New York, you have no idea the type of fans we are. And that is the truth. Terry will get booed because it is New York and he is from Boston. And no self-respecting Yankee fan will clap for the man from the Nation. I don't care who he is.

you are wrong I'm a Yankee fan and 04 was worse and doesn't Manny and Ortiz start almost every year in all star game (besides this year) and 07 was a great season coming back from 14 games after being left for the dead by everyone. I really enjoyed every moment of it. it was a disappointing ending but i enjoyed it while it lasted. and you say Yankee fans are cocky and arrogant what are you doing now if not being a cocky and arrogant Boston fan. face it you are rubbing yourself off from Yankee fans you learned from them how to take winning shouldn't you thank us?!

I understand how deeply this rivalry runs. All too well, but what comes around goes around. Terry has led his team to another World Series and in the House that Ruth Built, the curse will be laid to rest once and for all. It isn't a curse that determines champions but the will the drive and the determination to succeed. Yes, it is ironic to have the Boston Red Sox Manager in Yankee Stadium managing the American League in the Stadium that was named after the man who allegedly began the curse on this team. May Babe Ruth finally rest in peace

Gee, aren't Yankee fans supposed to be classy? Your team has 26 championships, but you want to boo the Red Sox manager. Real classy. If Joe Torre (or another Yankees manager) ever managed the All-Star at Fenway Park, you darn well know I will not boo him. I will applaud him and show respect!

And i don't think this hurts more then 2004! that was a disgrace,At least we made the playoffs after being 21+28 in MAY!!! Booing Francona is wrong!! This yankee fan is gonna,, CHEER HIM!!!!!

Yes, we realize this. We had our shot at advancing but we wasted alot of scoring chances. Being a Yankee fan, I have to congratulate the Red Sox for winning. The Rockies are soooo done, they're charred and sticking to the pan!! There, we are not all sore losers and bad baseball fans!!

How is he going to start his own players, if the starting lineups are voted by the fans?
What if Lowell joins the Yankees to replace A-Rod, as has been suggested?
And what could possibly hurt worse than having a 3-0 lead in a series, being up a run in the bottom of the ninth in Game Four, having a Hall of Famer on the mound to wrap things up ... and losing the series?

No. Your just being stereotypical. The fans at the All-Star game are from everywhere, not just New York. And besides, it looks like he deserves to be there. You don't see the Yanks in the World Series, do you? Meen either.
Heres me in the 2008 all star game
"And the 2008 AL manager for the all star game: Terry Francona"
My reaction: "Good. He deserves it." *claps*
Get some respect for him. He deserves it.

Isn't someone a little bitter. Hopefully there will be a better class of baseball fans at the game than you. Not all Yankee fans are as ignorant as you are.
