If so, how did you get through it? Did your insurance cover it? Who was at fault?

Once, when I was 7 1/2 months pregnant, I was rear-ended while sitting at a (red) traffic light.
I was really, really frightened because I was pregnant, but I wasn't hurt. My insurance didn't have to pay for it, the insurance of the guy who hit me paid for it.

yes, my brother was driving and i was in the back seat. My brothers best friend hit us and their other friend got hit also. Since i was in the back, the car hurt my back. Insurance covered it, and my brothers best friend had to pay for the damage.
