Babies in the beginning have lots of green bowl movements. Especially after Jabs and colds. You baby's immune system is slowly learning to deal with the world around it and is constantly being introduced to new bacterias and having to deal with them. This will make your baby stronger in the long run.

So it can be a sign that your baby is slightly not well. If it stays the same for a few days I would ring the Dr and tell he/him. The Dr will ask about other possible symptoms.

Green Bowel movements aren't anything to worry about really, It could be wind or a little belly ache but even then it's normal.

Completely normal. My boy is formula fed and his poo is normally green with beige streaks, the green is from the iron in the formula and the beige is the rest of the formula he can't digest. Breastfed babies of Mom's that get a lot of iron in their food or take supplements will see green poo too. Worry if you see fresh blood in it or if it's black and tarry (blood that has gone through the digestive system), they warrant an immediate trip to the doctor, emergency room if doctor not available.

My son is also 7 weeks old, and his bowel movements seem to change all the time, which his pedi. says is normal. As long as she is having a bowel movement she is ok. Make sure she is getting enough to eat, and make sure it does not turn into diarhea.

it quite is genuine that she must be doing a minimum of as quickly as an afternoon, regardless of she's fed (to circumvent absorption of pollution from the gut) - yet 24 hours between doos is somewhat early to start panicking approximately it, till according to probability she's having tummy pains. supply it yet another couple of days and then if her bowels nevertheless are not working, supply her an toddler-length glycerine suppository - that could desire to make her do a stinky in a couple of minutes!

It's completely normal. When my first born did that for the first time, it totally freaked me out. Since he was breastfed, my pediatrician said what I was eating would affect what his poop looked like (I was such a rookie then). You should also check out www.opmom.com. It's a great resource for parenting, with a very supportive group.

Yes, this is quite normal. Especially for breastfed babies. Sometimes it may be because of an imbalance of the hindmilk and foremilk.

It could have to do with a fore/hind milk imbalance. Are you letting her nurse as long as she wants on one side?

If your baby is on formula this is normal. If your baby is on breastmilk, it should look more like mustard-- sometimes with a green tinge.
