PP = "I'm an American by right of birth and I don't care who has to die to so long as I can make that claim. Let the "others" die for my freedom"....that about covers it, right P ?

Unfortunately he is, because I'm an American citizen (and proud of it.) He was my Governor too. I have NEVER voted for him. If your own mother states you're a screw up (paraphrasing) and surprised you could ever be President of the Unites States of America, then it's a clue that he doesn't have the faculties necessary to lead this country in a civil manner.
As Governor, he did nothing but screw up the educational system in Texas. He allowed many people to die via the death penalty. (Why would he care about torture? He's done it before.) He has no heart. He just wants money and a bottle of booze. He wants the Haves to have more and the Have-nots to continue to have less.
I can't wait for his term to end. We will be a much better country when he's gone off to Crawford, TX and he won't have to hide his drinking anymore. At least he'll have an excuse for being a boob.

He is the President of the United States of America and all its citizens. Reguardless if you voted for him or not, like or dislike his policies he is still the President. I would hope that those who answered no are not in the armed forces, since part of their oath is that they would perform their duties in support of our country by supporting and obeying the Presidents instructions for the good of the country. Maybe I am a little more patriotic than most. Hope I did not upset anyone who reads this.

Funny how two people can view the same data and come up with diametrically opposing views. You say you're a "Christian," and that you were in the military? Honestly, the only people I've ever known in the military who were something other than republican were the same ones who could never get their act together and were always blaming someone other than themselves for their life's misadventures. Sadly, even when bill clinton (lower case with great intent. It's far more than he deserves) was in office, he was STILL my president. I don't pick and choose which verses from the Bible I am willing to obide and I recognize that Bush was elected legally (twice).

Sorry, I've never been petty enough to play that game. I did not vote for Clinton but he was my president. IF a democrat is elected, they will be my president, whether I like it our not. I will simply use my voice at the next election to vote for the one I want.
Petty games do nothing for anyone...and the ones playing just waste valuable time.
