I see the same old crap from the same old vile 'haters', but today one of them sunk to a new low, by asking a question and refering to Madeleine McCann, as the "McBaby"

I notice the McCann haters didnt even miss a beat, and were quick to agree with whatever cr@p was spouted.. Is this a new low? transferring the hatred of the Parents into a disrespect of the innocent victim?

Razzle - it is valid to use the term to discuss the mindset of the people who think up these things and use that sort of terminology.
you can't go through life ignoring things that you disagree with... sometimes things/ people/ attitudes need to be challenged.

Wish List - I don't think it is a common term for Madeleine Mccann... I have heard her referred to as 'maddy' (which, incidentally, is quicker to type than 'McBaby') but - in hundreds of YA posts (and reading other boards, too) I have never before seen the term 'McBaby'

Ali - i am sure you could sink lower, but i was talking about disrespect,
not the insults that a common guttersnipe could dream up

its a good point.

i actually cant understand why people dont just wait for the real culprit to be found, arrested and trialled. it seems so many people on Y/a want to be judge and jury. The whole thing is just ugly, no-one knows for sure what happened to Madeleine so why dont we all wait to hear the ful story before passing judgement. Its so unfair! Nobody here would like to be falsely accused of something so deplorable. The obsession with the McCanns on this site, and the deep insensitivity towards the little girl and her family is very .
alarming.

FOr the record I am not pro-McCann, nor Anti-McCann, I am just pro-truth.

It is rather disrespectful to Madeleine to refer to her as a nickname. She has a beautiful name and people should have the decency to use it.

Star.

Well, it's pretty low, yeah. But it seems to be of a piece with the attitude that people are guilty until proven innocent. It's trial by media....trial by stupid people and media.

i dont think the asker was being disrespectful towards madeleine its just a terminology that most people immediately identify with without needing an explaination of who it is.
i meant putting mc in front of a word or name, not specifically mcbaby.

They're all pathetic losers who seriously need to move on. How sick is it to continuously post questions about this family's trauma and grief and have the nerve to be offended when anyone questions their intense interest.
I'd have to question the quality of "Real Life" these sad little people have outside of Yahoo Answers.

Now bring on the TD's from all the saddos!

Well, it may very well be a low point of many yet to come. I'm surprised McDonald's haven't stepped in on name infringement.
