I'll be graduating high school soon, and I'm trying to figure out what I'm going to do, but my question is if I go to college for only two years to get my basic classes down, than enter 4 years of pharmacy school, when I go for only my basics for two years, do I still graduate you know cap and gown or do I do what they call halfway transfer?

Actually, um no I wont be going to a community school, I'm going to Texas A&M University, and I won't need a bachelors degree, I only have to get my core's because I'm in an advanced pharmacy program, so obviously I'm not going to a community school.

It depends on the school.

If you go to an in-state community college and state university, the credits will easily transfer and you'll only have to spend 2-3 years getting your bachelor's.

However check with the college of your choice first. MOST community college classes should transfer though.

If you transfer into pharmacy before completing the requirements for a bachelors, you will not have a diploma until you graduate from pharmacy school, 4 years hence. Some pharmacy schools do require bachelors.

I'm sorry this is really confusing for me. pharmacy school is a grad program right? you cant do a grad program without first completing ( graduating yes) a bachelors program. so you're looking at 3 or 4 years of undergrad before you start studying pharmacy.
