It depends on the part of the state you are in.

If you are looking to get one as a pet, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DONT!

EXOTIC ANIMALS DO NOT MAKE GOOD PETS, PERIOD!

Yes, however there are special permits required to keep them within city limits. I don't know what the specifics would be for your area, but you could always call a local vet and find out. I have a kinkajou myself named miko, and they might be the greatest all-around pet I have ever owned. Living in Vegas, all that was required was a $15 yearly permit; but that could be radically different in OK.

More important than the permits though....
Are you fully prepared to take care of an exotic like a kinkajou? While kinkajou's themselves are not terribly difficult to take care of, they do have their quirks. Make sure you do your research BEFORE you get one, and have a vet lined up that is familiar with them as well.
