eastern is always 1 hour ahead of central so it's 5:00 pm. central is one hour ahead of mountain time which is one hour a head of pacific.every 15 degrees of longitude is the equal of one hour of time. as you travel west from Greenwich England when it is 12 noon there take away one hour for every 15 degrees of longitude and as you travel east add one hour for every 15 degrees of longitude
