I have never understood why when there are so many zebras in Africa and they have never been domesticated. It seems like every other suitable animal in Africa has been domesticated so why not the zebra?

"It seems like every other suitable animal in Africa has been domesticated"... what are you talking about? They have the same domestic animals that the US and just about every country, cattle, goat, chicken, etc. They might have different species of cattle/goat/etc but its still the same.

Overall though with zebra they have found that their behavior does really not make them a good species to try and domesticate. However there are hybrids out there that come close, like a zonkey (zebra and donkey).
