London! If you can afford it since our dollar doesn't mean much there anymore. You have time to go do it before something comes up. You find more culture, more history and such different things than anything in CA or USA.
Don't get me wrong I love CA - won't live anywhere else.
But London is London!!!!!! :)

If you have loads of money to burn to go London. It's fabulous, but the dollar is worth practically nothing there right now, so I would say go to California. There's so much to the state and so much to do that you can't go wrong. The weather in southern California is amazing all year long.

London in Dec. will probably be wet and cold, while Calif. will be darn warm in the summer. I was born and raised in CA and love it there- well, at least NORTHERN CA.! But I also spent 2 weeks in England this summer, 1 in London, and absolutely loved it!!!! I would choose London everythime. no matter what the weather was!!! have fun!

It depends on your personal tastes.
If you are the outdoors type, Cali would be a better choice. You have redwood forests, Yosemite, and the seaside drive of Hwy 1.
If you prefer to be indoors and are more into history and culture London is your choice. Lots of museums, castles, galleries, etc.

I live in Massachusetts. I haven't been to California or England. If I had the choice I would pick England.

It really depends where you live. The farthest one away from where you live would be my vote.
