i have friends that ive had since highschool and were still close even though some are now miles away we have holidays together and keep in touch then i have ones online that i have daily contact with that have been there for over a year and id class them as true friends as when the going gets tough...they dont get going but stick with each other thru the good the bad and the ugly.. then you just are left with aquaintances that come and go out of your life and online that you no will never be true friends and use you as a *stepping stone*

My definition of a true friend is some one that you can tell anything to... life stories, ups, downs, secrets. Right now, I have 2 good friends, but no true friends. Here is a quote from one of my fav books:
"If you have two good friends, you are lucky. If you have one true friend, you are more than lucky." (from That was Then, This is Now by S. E. Hinton.)
