I own a lorry company and have no university degrees etc jst a lot of experience and a few different licenses... my wife does not either and we have to children ages 18 and 16, would it be possible for us to move?

Unless you can provide a business plan and financial data that would support you and your family for an extended period of time, it is very unlikely you would be able to immigrate. If you could provide this information, it is doubtful your wife would also be given a work visa. Your 18 year-old may also have trouble getting a visa unless he/she intends on attending university, which is very expensive for international students. Your only hope would be a "lottery" they tend to have for the European countries whereas they offer visas to random folks out of a pool. You're allowed to enter as often as you like.

I don't know if it's possible for you to move- I guess anything IS! But, why did you choose Utah, of all places???? Unless there is a VERY good reason, you should research other areas a little more, I think! Utah is very, very different from the UK! I, personally, was born in San Francisco and have lived for extended periods in Lake Tahoe and Las Vegas and am now near Nashville, TN- which my whole 3 generation family LOVES! We're happy with this move- 6 years ago- and intend to stay. It took awhile to find our "niche"! Now, when we want a change.... we travel (this summer was 2 weeks in the Cotswolds and London!) There are various schemes which enable access to the USA of which the easiest is to buy a business out there.
As a driver, you don't need to go driving, but can pick anything you fancy.
We are in the process of converting all our assets into a cash amount on paper and are looking at a Lawn Mower business.
The other schemes include petitioning the American Embassy for a visa etc but this can take years.
Use a search engine and 'hunt' for Enigrating to America and go from there. Good Luck

Why would you want to leave the UK. I live in Canada and have visited the UK in the past. I would retire there if I could. It has so much to offer and is so close to the world. Travel is cheap in Europe as well. Having said that, I would start with Canada Immigration. There may be provisions for the self employed. Not knowing your skills makes it difficult to say what kind of business would be good, but I do know that Western Canada is absolutely starving for trades and truckers.
