The only thing that really pisses me off is that the Yankees kind of blamed their demise on Torre. He isn't the "One". It's Cashman's team not Joe's. How do I really feel? I feel like the team is still the team to beat in the East and should be in contention for many years to come. How many other teams can claim that? The Tigers?

Uh, Terry, Cleveland hasn't won since 1948. Twister, 2000 was the end of the 20th Century, not the start of the 21st.
Georgie, I know you're having fun, but you have no legs to stand on since the Tigers are barren since 1984.
I could brag and say that the Cardinals have more than the Yankees, Tigers and Indians combined, but I don't.
The Red Sox have proven TWICE in the last 3 years that it takes FOUR wins, not 3 to claim a title, so don't hand over the trophy just yet.

The 21st century isn't over yet is it? The Yankees will win. By the way, the Yankees have 1 title in the 21st century. Remember 2000?

How do I feel? Well, I had a little pain in my shoulder when I got up with it this morning. Must have been the way I was sleeping on it. Of course my headache is gone since that party last night. Now that was a party!! Too many Sam Adams I guess! Oh yea, we were talking about baseball weren't we. Baseball, yea, it's a great game. I wish every team could win a world series just so their fans can experience the joy of victory. I really mean that, you know!!

First of all, I think i speak for all REASONABLE Yankee fans when i say that i am not happy but youo have o give the red sox the credit. Even though the yankees would have probably beaten them in the ALCS, the Indians outplayed the yankees, and the red sox out played the indians.
And you always have to remember that the only score that counts is 26 - 7(soon to be). 19 to go, Bosox. And that's if we stay at 26. and we all know that thats now gonna be for very long.
and to all yankee fans... there's always next year.

I would say bitter, I went to yankee game recently and was on the subway if a red sox fan came aboard i'm sure they would have been sorry or um dead. Just remember if you go to a yankee/redsox game in nyc don't take the subway.
