I am a Republican and I like all sorts of people. Who I don't really care for are people who slap labels on people and then smear them with assine rhetoric.
I vote my conscience, not the party line. I even voted for a Democrat in the last congressional election. I have tons of friends who are Democrats. I don't label them as "tree-huggers", "socialists" or "welfare cases".
Try to be a little more open-minded.

Decent, honest, hard-working people who play by the rules.
Anybody who recognizes the danger of global terrorists.
Capitalists.
People of faith.
People who choose to achieve their status by their own efforts, and not governmental handouts.
Everybody in the Armed Services.

They don't like the religious right. They USE them and from time to time throw them a bone (like pretending to save Terri Schiavo from the left leaning judges that were trying to "murder her"). The neocons love bin Laden, tho. That is why he is alive and well and walked out of Tora Bora.
