Help me solve this algebra question, please?
And explain/show the steps on how to do it? D:
I don't get this.

2x/3= -4x/5 -1/2

For "complicated' problems like this, use the Least common denominator method :) To find it, find the least common multiple of all the denominator, in this case 30
Then, multiply EVERYTHING in the equation by the least common denominator.
2x times 30 is 60x, divided by 3 is 20x
-4x times 30 is -120x, divided by 5 is -24x
-1 times 30 is -30 divided by 2 is -15

so far the equation is
20x= -24x-15
Add 24x to both side, you'll have 44x= -15
divide both side by 44 to get the variable"x" all by itself. so
-15 divided by 44 is -15/44

-15/44 is the answer i believe so :D

use 30 as your lcd

20x=-24x-15
44x=-15
x=-15/44
