I'd rather go to the beach, because at the beach, you can talk and get to know your date. At the cinema, you cannot talk, or really even look at each other. Also, the beach is more romantic, esp. in the night time, with the waves, and the ocean breeze... and, along beaches there are alot of things around, like restaurants, shops etc..

A beach seems a lot more romantic but a cinema sounds a lot more entertaining so I prefer to go to the cinema.
