ok so im learning different persuasion/advertising techniques in my humanities class. and our teacher gave us a project. she told us to think of and make any product called "zebra wink" and she called it this because its such a random name that its hard to call some product that. so wut product should i advertise? and whats a good jingle to go with it? lol ppl in my class are all doing something related to zebras, like a coat w/ zebra skin, or shoes with zebra print, etc. i was going to do mascara, with the bottle being zebra print, like u kno zebra WINK?! but someone stole my idea, so i want to do something better. can i have some ideas?

thanks soooo much!

Hmm, that mascara was a good idea. For a kids range of mascara that is. Zebra wink sounds a tad too playful for what you usualy find in beauty stuff.

I would also go for the animal variant. The stripes on the group variety is a tad boring. And too serious too play with. You could also make zebra the abbreviation of something and make that the product (or organisation).

How about a travel agency that organises trip and has hotels in South Africa? Zebra Wink safari trips? As a log you can use a animated winking zebra. For the design: think for instance the mule from Shrek (hint: in part 2 he becomes a horse for a while. Are you any good with photshop? ;) ). You can have the zebra appear everywhere. Posters, short sketches, comic strips. In broshures giving funny comments. Etc. Get people to laugh and make them feel they will have a fun holiday. Make sure you have a bit of fun making all this too as that will show in your work.
Is that any use?

Another idea: safari themed candy. Can just imagine a campaign based on two old English gentlemen on safari, one taking a candy, the terrain going from black and white into colour and him saying "say, did that zebra just wink to me". But then in posh English. :)

Think outside the box. Does it have to be a zebra or winking? There is a tv production company called Tiger Aspect but they don't do shows about tigers. A zebra would wink at anything if it is clever enough. So any product that is funny, clever or silly could have the name Zebra Wink.

You should make it something that a kid would play with like a game where you have to do things in the right order and if its right the zebra winks and if its wrong the zebra does something else.

What about a cleaning product? you can work in the black and white theme, you could design a home that is in black and white, and have a cleaner that cleans anything, black or white, leaving a streak free shine. or that will clean the black muck off your floor. or that will clean the stripes off a zebra...
you could have a cartoon zebra as part of the add, with and without stripes

The more provocative the item/advertising is, the better. One thought is to use underware as the item. Use someone with a very sexy wink to advertise it. The person winking is wearing the underware to get their mates attention.

How about a stamp for paper crafters? Or a circle cutter? Or a whole line of scrapbooking products? Maybe a brand of beads? Have fun with it.
