I'm working on a project for school, and am teaching what is really inside of typical candies people eat all the time. If you can also list the effect of the ingredient, or what the base of it is. Thank you very much!

What I forgot to add was it would be ingredients that might make kids from not wanting to eat the candy. Gross, disgusting type, like a petroleum bases, etc.

Pretty much anything, either too high in sugar content, salt content, artificial flavorings, colors, preservatives.

Effects vary from hyperactivity to various forms of cancer. Research is easy enough on the internet to get the specifics.

Enjoy your day!

Laffy taffies are very high is oils and fat. when you eat them you can feel it dripping. its digusting. Stick to the old ones like mini M&ms, skittles, starbursts, and lollypops. The ones you have known for a real long time, not new candies that sound gross like jelly filled tootsie rolls. Bleh!

The ones with sugar are bad for you. Luckily "bad for you" is not the criterion people use in deciding which candies they like.
