Yeah, I got better at in in middle school. But then when got to high school it got worse for me. My heart would beat so fast, and I would have shortness of breath, which is really weird because that's NEVER happened before. I only get like this when I have to speak in public, not on the phone, though.

I used to. Then I had a job where I had to speak to all the new hire's. There would be like 50 of them and I had to stand at a podium and speak about expectations. Plus they were all men!! The first time I freaked. Now I am used to it. Plus I have to be on a conference call every morning with people all around the country. It doesn't bother me anymore.

If I'm really close to that person and I'm speaking to them over the phone, then no I don't get nervous.

When I'm about to talk to a group of people, I just think happy thoughts, and think if anything funny happens, laugh along with them. After all, they don't remember EVERYTHING you do!

But I know how you feel. This use to happen to me.

Sometimes I do. Taking a public speaking class might help you with your nervousness.
