Depends on what position(quarterback, running back, linebacker, etc) and also how high you rank when you're drafted in the NFL. Those guys sign contracts of 5 years or so and overtime can make millions of dollars. They also make money by endorsements. Some athletes are represented by such companies like Reebok, Nike, Adidas and Puma and they shell out millions of dollars.

It varies according to player and performance. But the Atlanta Falcons have to be the most over paid lot. I mean really getting paid to lose almost every game.

can you spell?? anyway, it depends what league they are in, how good they are. i mean, if you are in a junior legue football team you dont make any money do you. remember, money isn't everything
