We are always playing Uno, is it a subconscious way to make him forget the reality of life ? Is our life together soo unhappy that he can only focus on playing cards ?

Its not that our life may be unhappy, he may be very happy with me, I am just very insecure.

Maybe you just don't have the bug like he does,my friends and i would get together every night just to play double pinochle and we would play for hours. We did that for one year straight until it turned into Chess of coarse this was before computers now here i am every night by myself just me and my computer.
It could be a lot worse he could be out in the bars drinking and running around with women. I wouldn't complain if i were you unless there is a lot more to this story your not telling us about.

Maybe your husband likes to play for fun and it relaxes him after a long day. I know that when I'm stressed or had a long day I would love to sit and play games with my husband or get lost in a book. It's just a "get away" in a sense. Not necessarily to distract from real life but to unwind. Some of my best memories are playing games one on one with my man. Just be happy he is playing WITH you and not without you. I would consider it quality time.. good luck, hope that helps a little!

Think of it this way, he may be looking forward to spending a little private time with you.

Ask him, he is the one who would know.
