Remote viewing is nothing new in Tibetan monasteries. For thousands of years remote viewing in the middle of other spiritual activities have dominated Tibetan culture. What some Indian tourists came to learn from a few Tibetan monasteries under the current Chinese rule is extremely alarming and fascinating.

According to these tourists remote viewers are seeing world powers in the course of self-destruction. They also see that the world will not be destroyed. Between now and 2012 the world super powers will continue to engage in regional wars. Terrorism and covert war will be the main problem. In world politics something will happen in and around 2010. At that time the world powers will threaten to destroy each other.
Between 2010 and 2012, the whole world will get polarized and prepare for the ultimate dooms day. Heavy political maneuvers and negotiations will take place with little progress.
In 2012, the world will start plunging into a total destructive nuclear war.

And at that time something remarkable will happen, says, Buddhist monk of Tibet. Supernatural divine powers will intervene. The destiny of the world is not to self-destruct at this time.
Scientific interpretation of the monks, statements makes it evident that the Extra Terrestrial powers are watching us every step of the way. They will intervene in 2012 and save the world from self-destruction.
When asked about recent UFO sightings in India and China, the monks smiled and said the divine powers are watching us all. Mankind cannot and will not be allowed to alter the future to that great extent.
Every human being though their current acts in life called "Karma can alter the future lives to some extent, but changing the destiny in that large extent will not be allowed to that great an extent.

Monks also mentioned that beyond 2012 our current civilization would understand that the final frontier of science and technology is in area of spirituality and not material physics and chemistry. Beyond 2012, out technologies will take a different direction. People will learn the essence of spirituality, the relation between body and the soul, the reincarnation and the fact we are connected with each other are all part of "God.

In India and China UFO sightings have increased in many folds. Many say the Chinese and Indian Governments are being contacted by the Extra Terrestrials.

In recent days most UFO activities have been seen in those countries who have indigenously developed Nuke capabilities.

When asked if these extra-terrestrials will show up in reality in 2012, the answers remote viewers are giving is: they will reveal themselves in such a way that none of us scared. They will reveal themselves only if they have to. As our science and technology progresses, we are destined to see them and interact with them any way.

According to the remote viewers, our earth is blessed and is being saved continuously from all kinds of hazards all the time that we are not even aware of. As our technologies progress we will realize how external forces saved us.

Since I need 2 points for a nice round number, here is the answer. No.
Don't get straddled with all this end of the world stuff on 12/21/2012. The world will still be here. Its the Mayan calendar that comes to an end.

The world will not end on 12/21/2012. That is the last date on the Mayan calendar. The Mayans were a primitive tribe of Indians who couldn't do anything to save themselves from being wiped out by the Spaniards. Unless people have now started to worship the Mayan gods, then that date does not mean anything.

I hate to recycle one of my answers, but I answered this question yesterday. Rather than writing a new response I'll just paste it:

If anyone actually thought this was going to happen wouldn't you see some signs of it, outside of your middle school? Wouldn't there be some sort of countdown on the news shows? Wouldn't you see all sorts of articles in Time and Newsweek and Popular Science. Surely the end of the world would make the news. Is it possible the middle school students know the facts and no one else does? Why aren't the markets reacting? Wouldn't Leno or Letterman mention the fact?

Here's a guess: You believed some sensationalist TV show that made absurd claims without the least bit of proof, relying solely on the prophecies of some Indians who couldn't even invent the wheel,
Then you continued to believe it even though no other evidence suggested itself, even though such an event would surely make the news.

Of course I vaguely remember some idiotic rumor from my youth about the Beatles being somehow transported to some magical place called Pepperland. Actually it was only teenage girls that believed this nonsense. If there was one male who actually believed in Pepperland I would love to hear from you. I'll only laugh at you a little. I promise.

No, I doubt so that the world is going to end on 12/21/2012.

Believe in God. Jesus said that nobody will know when He will return to Earth for Judgement Day. He will come at the least expected time. Nobody knows. That means predictions on when the world will end are all false. Remember, nobody knows.

The Bible has stated it very clearly.

Well, I kinda know that every year, there is a date of prediction when the world will end. Erm, my sister told me that. I don't know how true!

Take care of yourself while you are in this world and before it ends when you are still around!

Theoretically, it's supposed to end on 12/12/2012.

The source for this is the Mayan calendar which ends on that particular date.

Personally, I'm not going to be worry about it one way or the other.

If the world ends then . . . . that's that.

If it doesn't end then . . . . I guess I'll just have to get get up and go to work as usual.

Our world, AS WE KNOW IT, will end.....For good reason!
As we all know it has become a very dark place which nobody is happy with.
To define 'our world', I mean our mass-consciousness. That's what will change.... The planet itself will not 'end'.
We have reached a 'critical mass' in human population, and in our depletion of the planet's resources for the purpose our consumption and personal survival. As long as we persist in our sense of territorialism, we will continue to have self- destructive wars. The trouble is that nobody will WIN! That's what will turn our mass-consciosness around, by force .
That's what the Mayans predicted and charted on a 5,000 year calender-wheel.....Yes, a wheel!... They 'invented the wheel' for purposes of astronomy, rather than for material uses, and got to understand the rythm and cycles of the Cosmos entire, applying that knowledge to an advanced philosophy.
(And they were NOT a primitive tribe wiped out by the Spaniards; that was the plight of the Incas!)
This change of consciousness is looming close, and will inevitably start to take place only after a series of some devastating events that will force this change on the human species.
There is light at the end of this tunnel, but first the 'material' mindset has to go, and this will not happen without alot of pain and loss to bring us all to this realization.....like all lessons learned!
As a mass, we just have to grin and bear the consequences.
Nature will prevail. :D

You are referring to the Ancient Mayan Calandar. The calandar ends in 2012, so some think that is when the world ends.

The calandar is sophisticated, and quite an achievement. However, I for one am not going to lose any sleep over the possibility the world will end when the calendar ends. This is simply nonsense.

Well, I went into Barnes and Noble to kill an hour bc i didnt want to go to my ACT prep class. I accidentally came across a book called..2012! It was pretty intriguing. It never mentioned the world actually ENDING, just this phase of life as we know it. Too complicated to explain, but I definately had an epiphany after reading it for an hr. WAY better than ACT prep
