first off, how does mother know you lost your virginity? did she catch you inserting a tampon or does she check you regularly? anyhow, if you have never had penile penetration, technically you are a virgin. you might have a tough time convincing your first love, that you are pure. also, maybe it is still in there just shifted or something. i don't know this is a touchy situation and makes me feel funny to talk about. take care.

No, you ought to intercourse to lose your virginity, in many situations you may placed on tampons besides without 'breaking' something, yet alot of ladies harm their hymens via doing different issues, like gymnastics or maybe if, so virginity isnt quite a actual ingredient, its approximately having intercourse..

No, tampons do not take away your virginity. You are a virgin until a penis enters your vagina. It is possible that you broke your hymen inserting a tampon, but that can also happen doing regular activities. It does not make you "not a virgin." Do not worry, you are still a virgin!

Your Mom has no idea what she is talking about! Being a virgin has to do with SEX... using a tampon is not having sex... Tell her to stop stressing and call a doctor to prove she is wrong... Good Luck

No, only having sex takes away your virginity. Your hymen can get stretched or broken any number of ways (and you can even be born without one) but if you haven't had intercourse, you are a virgin.

They can take away the EVIDENCE of virginity; so can riding a horse. There is only one thing that can take away your virginity itself! Perhaps you should tell Mom about the tampons.

Thats not true at all. Your mom is dead wrong. She worried that you broke your hymen. but thats not what virginity is. You are a virgin until you have sex. You can't lose it to a stick of cotton.
Unfortunetely there are still some people who think you have to have an intact hymen to be a virgin. But thats just not true. There are lots of ways to break a hymen and only one way to not be a virgin anymore.

Nope. The only way to lose virginity is through sexual intercourse. If your mother is actually saying that, she is sadly mistaken and really needs to be educated.

Using a tampon does not make you lose your virginity. You lose your virginity during sexual intercourse, when the penis enters the vagina.
