You don't say which mint mark your coin is or what condition it is in, and both of those together determine the value of your coin. The mint mark is in the 6:00 position on the back under the eagle. No mint mark is Philadelphia, S is San Francisco, O is New Orleans, and CC is Carson City.
Your coin contains .77 ounces of 90% fine silver (NOT one ounce). It is worth a minimum of $10. As pointed out by another responder, a coin with the CC mint mark (by far the best mint mark) in top grade retails for about $650. Yours could be anywhere in between, and without more info, it is impossible to say.

Well, I can tell you that if it weighs an ounce (actually a troy ounce) and it's made out of .999 silver, today that coin should be worth $14 plus change.

If this is your coin and it is in good shape, it appears to be worth 6 to 700 US dollars.
