You can go to culinary school to be a chef. Wedding planners are creative, artistic and smart businesspersons. They have to be organized and run a small business and deal with customer service. A business or marketing degree would be helpful for this.

while still young attend those 1 day cooking classes esp during school breaks and start selling your stuffs like brownies or cakes that way people in your neighborhood would already get to taste what you create...its thrilling when people say wow this taste so good and will encourage you more...when its time for you to go to college take up hotel and restaurant management course, or marketing and advertsing if you want to be a wedding planner...you can also attend a culinary school if you want....

Hey what a coincidence! I'm 13 and I want to be a teacher. I know what your thinking, fun right? I think so too. My aunt is a teacher, so yes it sure is possible. As for a wedding planner, talk to wedding directors when you get older, that would help.

The best thing you can do is get any job you can in the industry.
For a successful culinary career, you should have a solid working background BEFORE you go to school! In fact, any school that does not require kitchen experience to attend is not worth going to.
Read every cook book you can get your hands on and experiment with different foods to expand your palate!

Kitchen work is hard, dirty and hot , but if you love it, there is no better job on earth!!
