Its Elizabeth the 1st at age 13. I'm guessing Protestant Bible because of the religious situation in England at the time.

At the time of this portrait, all things Catholic had been abolished throughout England. After about 1538 there were extremely severe penalties for anyone found practising the Catholic faith, including torture and death.
It is unlikely to be anything but a Protestant Bible.

It is impossible to tell from the picture, but if it is a portrait of Elizabeth, then it would be a bible in English - not a 'Protestant' Bible as there really is no such thing. Not the King James either (1st answer) - he was King until after Elizabeth had died!!!

if it is a Bible, it is not the KJV since Elizabeth came before King James I (James VI of Scotland). It could be one of a variety of English vernacular Bibles that appeared after Martin Luther. I don't know exactly when the Geneva Bible came out, but it might be that or the one of Wycliff or Tyndale. Otherwise, it just might be a log book of people she wanted to see dead.

Elizabeth was not a Catholic, but I can't imagine what you mean by "Protestant Bible."
The King James Bible was authorized by Elizabeth's successor, James I.
