The Exorcist.

I think the Exorcist was the scariest, when it first came out. Now it's nothing. Movies are so much more graphic then the Exorcist now. You don't really see too many really scary movies anymore. I saw Saw IV last night and can say that it wasn't scary at all. I was pretty scared of Stephen King's: Storm of the Century when it first came out..I don't know why.

I believe everyone has different tastes but the worst ever (worst meaning realy realy scary) horror film is one that can actually happen or is based on a true story, like the exorcist, or the exorcism of emily rose but for what can actually happen scream coz that can very likely become real.
Also what made me scared to death was NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET because it gives you great fear o falling asleep!

Ju-On (japanese version of The Grudge. The american version was TAME compared to the original. Lol.)

I was so traumatized by several scenes that I couldn't shower properly, ride an elevator properly or even sleep with the lights off for several months!

The Exorcist. I refused to watch it while I was pregnant but a few years later I finally saw it. It was absolutely the most horrifying movie I have ever seen.
