Possibly, but I think it's true for anyone who loves the Lord and wants to serve Him....The main thing is to have an 'unselfish' attitude. For most of the younger people their whole life and reason for living wraps around them; they are the center of their universe. Serving the Lord requires sacrificial living, there's not too many young people who are willing to do that. Don't get me wrong, there are many young people out there serving the Lord but the vast majority of young people care only about number one. The older people do have a lot of life experiences behind them, many have seen wars, many have lived through the depression where food was scarce, many worked from a very early age, they have learned what is really important in life. They are more likely to help someone in need because they have been in those shoes. Many young people can only laugh at older people simply because they are old. They think they are smarter but in reality, as it says in the Bible, there's nothing new under the sun. Older people care about others and they will always be the first to lend a helping hand...I attend a church where the majority of its members are 70 or older... Whenever there's work to be done around the church, guess who does it every time?....The older people; the younger ones are always too busy. It's very hard on the older ones but they've made up their minds to be a servant, and put their own desires on hold and do what needs to be done for the sake of others...
