Not even close. There's too much desensitization and apathy today.

No, in the sixties their was Vietnam, the current war we are in is much more like Korea, which took place in the 50's.

In the 60's we had a liberal presidents all 10 years (Nixon was most socially liberal Republican). During this decade all we have had is conservative presidents ( much like the 80's.) That will not change because Hilliary is more conservative than Rudy.

In the 60's fuel prices were not a huge conceern, they were in the 1970.

In the sixties there was a high water mark in many areas of personal freedoms as law enforcement was often sympathetic to the hippies. Currently security has run amok much like the 1950's.

But on many other areas, we have reached unprecedented technolgy breakthroughs, people in the US are generally wealthier and live longer.

No, if we were reliving the 1960s, I think there would be a lot more people protesting the war and speaking out against the government.

We are reliving the 1960's about as much as old people having dreams in their sleep are actually reliving their childhoods.

Let me see... racism is on the climb. War protests... Drug use is up! Dressing down is in... still. Ummmm. Did we even leave the 60s?

As time rolls on, every generation will always try to out do the previous generation. I wish they would focus on going the other direction and work with us to clean up our parents mess.

If you specified what areas of life you´re considering to be going the 60s way today, I´d be happy to give you my thoughts. :)
