Briggs and Stratton 14HP OHV vertical shaft
I have removed the deck from the mower and am going to leave the motor on the mower. Just doing this for fun.

What? nobody goes to lawnmower races? That is the biggest draw at our town's 4th of July celebration.
Changeing pulley sizes and getting larger diameter tires are your only real options.

The transmission is the only other option to change the gearing to a higher speed if you change the pulleys you will probably blow both the transmission as well as the motor. if you are doing this for fun get a go cart frame and put the motor on that using the tractor for other that its designed purpose is a danger.
