This movie is A WHILE back.
Its about a guy that has about 6 imaginary friends which are actually friendly spirits/guardians/ghosts.
Its starts with the 6 people on a bus that gets into an accident because the bus driver is staring at the car beside him where a guy is touching the girls inner thigh. They all die.
So then they are assigned to a baby boy and its like his imaginary friends. When he starts growing up, eventually he doesnt see them anymore and forgets about them. But they keep following him around.
One day, i think at work, he walks past one and says excuse me... they realize that he can see them again... theyre quite surprised because he hadnt spoken to them for a long time.
So now, for them to be able to pass on to the other side he has help them finish off what they left off on earth. Each time one of them has finished something the bus that they got into an accident returns and they go on it and leave.

Heart and Souls. I loved watching Robert Downey, Jr. sing The Star Spangled Banner accompanied by BB King. It's great fun!

Heart and Souls. With Robert Downey Jr. I love that movie. I haven't thought of it in years. I use to watch it over and over when I was a kid. Thanx for the reminder.

I know what movie you're talking about, but I can't remember the name. I know Robert Downey Jr. was in it.
