You're confusing people. The song is not called "Party Like a Rock Star" (that's the one by the Shop Boyz), it's just called "Rock Star". If it's the song that I'm thinking of, it's by Nickelback.

There are indeed a lot of rock songs that mention partying like a rock star. The first one that came to my mind is a few years old... it's called "So Cal Loco" and is by a band one of my friends used to like, called Sprung Monkey, I think. But yeah, if you knew some lyrics... that would probably help in your search :) It might be the Nickelback song... but I wouldn't know, because I never listen to them, so I've never heard it. hehe.
