A place that is relatively crime free and has nice condos. I'm looking to rent when I get there, so where should I go?

The further from the strip the better. I live in the southwest part of the valley and it is relatively new. Not much crime in this part since it is newer and a real nice group of people live here. Also you can look in Henderson, pretty yuppie there. Stay away from downtown or anything close to there. You might check out the Las Vegas Review Journal for rentals .. you can look online at the listings.
Good rule of thumb ... the further from the strip the better.
