Love knows no boundaries. The US society seems to think it's taboo to date/marry someone who is over 10 yrs your senior/junior. Whatever. If you are in love, and you feel it is true love.. you can do what you want, as long as you obey the laws! Don't fall in love with a 14 yr old and expect to get anything but some cuffs on ya! Everyone has different mentalities... some people feel as though they are 30, even though they are 60. If they find a 30 yr old who can relate to them, then why not spend time with them? You will have a lot in common.

I think it depends what age you are and what sex the older one is in the relationship. For example:
For someone of 13 the boundaries for me would have been 12-14 but now I'm 16 it's about late14 -17
If I was 20-something the boundary would be more like 20-30 etc... But when you get to 50 or so it would be like 18-60 probably hahaha!

Forgive me if I´m a bit square...my husband is 11yrs older than me.It´s OK but I know if it wasn´t for true love our age difference would be a a bit of a problem.
My father is 21 yrs older than my stepmother, she says the same thing I just said.
I presently know this guy who´s 60 looking for a relationship with someone around 25-30 and I tell him I don´t think he´ll be successful, unless the cupid really strikes. I certainly wouldn´t go for him, even if I was free coz I consider 25 yrs too much... like dating my father... but again, as some said, if it happens , if there´s love, everything is possible.

If you truly love each other, then age shouldn't matter.
I have found that I have always, (as I grow older), been attracted to people of my own age or a few years older. Too old for me is when I have nothing in common with that person, on a generational level, (but you could apply that to anything, not just age). I'm a big 'kid' at heart, so whoever finally puts up with that has to not be too old to accept it! If that makes sense!

Age doesn't matter in a loving relationship as long as it's at the legal age

Well I am old, so no one is to old for me, now I would not date anyone more than fifteen years younger than me, my husband was eight years younger than me, and he passed away in 1993, it was a car accident, you nevr know how long anyone is going to live, I thought I would die before him, life is for loving who you love, no matter what age, but I am fitty eight, so I would date someone in their fourty's at the youngest, come to think of it, that might be fun....excuse while I put on my lipstick....

I'd say 10 years older than me, so that would be 36. Of course if the chemistry is there, then a couple more years won't make a difference.
