I had that exact experience. I got a kidney and pancreas transplant in 1996 and I am nearing my 12th birthday with a new life.

I'd want the operation. I'm not through living yet and would want the 50/50 chance that I would have another 10 to 20 years instead of less than 1.

Tough one, I have lost several family members to cancer so this hits home. It's always different when it's you but I would most likely roll the dice and take the operation.

That one is hard, I think I'd say do it. If God decides to take you during then you know it was your time for sure. Otherwise, he wasn't quite ready for you yet.
