There is a website called ashleymadison.com that helps married people find sex partners for adulterous affairs. It really infuriates me that people have stooped so low. what do you think?

It just shows you how sick some people are. I also, feel that the sex industry has to much power over society getting into the minds of certain individuals making what they do appear normal. I think porn and websites that sell adultry on line should be against the law and banned. To many people get caught up in things like that and harm relationships because they are there for the easy taking and the money is big bussiness.

I agree. And is equally disgusting how far search engines like Yahoo have stooped. I sent Yahoo a comment online objecting to the steady stream of singles advertising they were pushing at my email account. "I'm not interested in adultery," I emailed, " am happily married." The next day, after sending Yahoo this comment, I started receiving unsolicited adultery advertisements by email. I can only conclude that Yahoo scanned my comments for key words (like "adultery") and started pushing out sponsored emails on this topic. Where are your morals Yahoo? Do you have a Company Code of ethics, or are your services for sale to ANY customer, no matter how disgusting their business?

You will all hate me in a minute. I believe that sex is fundamental to human existence and happiness. I don't think that sex is the most important part of a relationship, but if a partner is unsatisfied he/she will not be happy and the relationship will suffer for it.

I define "adultery" as having a relationship WITH love outside of your marriage or partnership. I believe that sex for the sole purpose of pleasure in some cases can be beneficial to a couple. Not being religious might play a little into my feelings on it, as I don't see a "sin" in adultery, only a violation of trust. People don't talk about their fantasies and desires enough with their mate before they get married. A man with a high drive should try to find a woman that is open to experimenting or allowing her man to experiment.

That said, I don't personally cheat on my mate but don't see much wrong with it as long as noone gets hurt.

I am in no way affiliated with ashleymadison.com.

That's what we get for living in a free country. Beyond that, the internet is international and you can find anything on the internet. The key...you shouldn't be visiting these types of sites or be worrying about them. (I'm quite shocked that you would advertise this site in your "question," as you are simply educating others on how to find this junk). Why spread the word and tell others where to find this?

There are worse things on the internet that children are exposed to. If you know people visiting these sites, you should distance yourself from them. Surround yourself with people that have similar moral values as yourself and all the negative garbage in the world won't imact your happiness.

Ive thought about this question over and over in my own mind. I dont mind if my hubby looks at porn or whatnot on the internet, cuz in the end - I benefit from it, but to look up a site that PROMOTES having an affair, I think that I would personally talk to your mate and ask what's up. If mine wants to go sleeping around with other people, then he knows that I wont be around anymore. If he wants someone else - thats fine with me. I dont like knowing that the sites are out there, but what can we do?

I think it's sick to make a profit on peoples' weaknesses, but at the same time I can't blame them. It is the American way!

Consider this in comparison to drug manufacturers destroying the health/medical industry, I'd say that is far worse, yet no one seems to be enraged by that!

That is just nasty! I would never cheat on my husband. The thought of another man touching me makes me feel ill. Everybody is looking for a quick fix instead of trying to work it out with their mates.
