what is the difference between the endpoint and the equivalence point of a titration???

The end pointis where the indicator changes color. The equivalence point is where the reaction is really complete. In NaOH + HCl ===> NaCl + H2O, the equivalence point is pH=7, because NaCl is neutral. But phenolphthalein only changes color at pH=8-10, and methyl orange at pH=5-6. For titrations of strong acids and bases, this usually does not matter, because the difference in mL of titrant is vanishingly small.
