My friend and I own 3 successful resturaunts/ bars, and were told by experts we could invest in a nightclub, becasue there is a demand for new ones, Any ideas or themes that you think would be good? E.g beach theme

Depends on the area you plan on opening the nightclub in, really. But alot of popular nightclubs go for the new age, sleek and sophisticated look... Yet they're cool. Glass, neon signs, sleek metals, etc. But make sure the music you play for the club fits with the theme, because there's nothing to ruin the mood more than out of place settings/tunes. Ex: if you're going to open a nightclub with traditional club genre music, (trance, club, dance etc.) do NOT make it a country-western theme or jazz. Get what I'm saying. Though a jazzy nightclub would be pretty cool, I've heard those are rather rare. You'd get more older people.

So for suggestions, my personal preferences would either be new wave or jazz.

But...
It's all up to you!

Good luck, and hope this helped you out!

If you are serious and have completed a proper business plan and feasibility study then you should have an idea what the people who will use the club have interests in. If it's just one of those dance clubs with pounding boom boom boom 'music' then it doesn't matter too much, but if it's a proper club with decent entertainment and meals served why not consider a Mediterranean theme? You could have a Spanish section, and Italian section, a Greek section and a French section with an appropriate menu.
