If you want to start cross-dressing, then start, you need to go shopping & get yourself some new clothes. If you don't want to go shopping, there are plenty of places on-line that can help you get what you need. And even if you don't go out in public when you're dressed as a girl, you'll still be able to have plenty of fun. You should at least try & go out on Halloween dressed as a girl, that's the best time & you would have even more fun.

Oh, okay to answer this a bi different then, you may find that you want to go one level with your cross dressing, but not others. For example you may want to wear the clothes, but not makeup, wig and so on. Look on the net for the UK Angels - they are a great support group (no admirers, just friendly folk) also call the Samaritans who will have phone numbers in your area. Be careful who you ask - although I push it a lot and cross dress in public both fully as a woman and as a man (ie I wear skirt, high heels etc, but no make up, wig) because I feel confidnet enough to do this. If it is shoes you wanna try, Evans shoe store are pretty friendly. For makeup you could contact Avon, or go to MAC Cosmetic near you. All are useful I hope!! What clothes do you like? Then you can choose the sort of shop to go to - TopShop, Miss Selfriedge, Principles, Wallis, the list is endless. You GO for it !

Well, there are several things you can do. You need to be very careful however as there are adults out there who would take advantage of you, so be careful.
Probably a good place to start is to decide what you want to cross dress with. Panties?, Bra? Shoes?
Decide where your interest are. Next thing is to get the intestinal fortitude to go to the store and buy what you want. This can be tough for a young person. Go to Wal mart or a similar store and look through the sections, feel free to pick things up or, if it is shoes, try them on.
One thing, is that the clerks really don't care what you buy. I remember working at such a store and we had men and teenagers who would come in and purchase womans clothing . We did not care. Every once in a while, a younger clerk would make some smart remark, but not to the customer. You will not see these people again, feel free to buy what you want.
Cross dressing seems to be practiced by between 5 and 10 percent of the population. Women routinely cross dress and no one cares. Men who cross dress can get funny looks, but its more accepted these days than years ago. Many men, both young and old practice under dressing. That is, they wear panties, or a bra under their regular cloths. Sometimes they wear womens shoes. I had an ex who did this and it did not make him gay. In fact, he was much more in touch with his "femine" side and was easier to relate to. It was strange at first, but he was a decent loving guy and I grew to accept is pretty quickly. Our break up had nothing to do with his cross dressing.
Good luck!

Do you ask someone? I think you've already done that - we are all here to help.
There are two sides to any coin. In this case the two sides are
Side 1) If I tell someone within my family or close circle of friends, will I get support or will I be ridiculed?
Side 2) If I crossdress in secret but get found out by my family or friends what will happen?
Unfortunately, we don't know your family in terms of culture or personalities so it'll be difficult to give specific answers. Personally I've come to the conculsion that it's better to be open and honest with family at least. Probably start with a female relative closest to your age, as long as their old enough to understand - sister, cousin maybe? Of course your mother will fell left out if you don't tell her next, but the female relative may be able to help you decide the best way to tell her. Yes, they may be shocked, but less so than if they 'discover' you.
As for clothing and makeup, I think I've covered most options in my other posts on your questions.
Good luck.

Dear Tuscanred,
My advice is to:
1. Start by letting the hair grow out
2. Start investing in "androgynous" or slightly feminine clothing. [Men's bikini underwear, turtleneck tops, a pair of "cowboy" boots with 3" heels, etc.] Let the people around you get used to you in an androgynous persona... In a year or so you might even get a pair or three of girls jeans.
3. Get yourself over to the local LGBT civic center. They will most likely have a Trans-teen group, Or at least an LGBT-Teen group. The others will be happy to teach you how it's all dune.
4. Look over some of my older posts. I've been posting answers to a lot of specific questions about stuffing bras, and such.
5. if you have some more questions feel free to IM me.
hugs,
PennyAnn

come and chat on http://www.tvchix.com or http://www.trans-mission.org but be careful in case you are predated by pervs (which I would like to think is unlikely) alternatively look at http://www.beaumontsociety.org.uk
Meanwhile, go for whatever it is that will satisfy your needs. What is it that makes you want to cross dress? If it's shoes, then buy some shoes. If it's tights, better still because they are going to be a lot cheaper and easier to hide.
