Would you rather live on an inhabited island, with clear seas, fresh water, and abundant food, little technology with a group of people that you are close to?.....Or would you live in a City, with a high flying busy job where you can meet lots of people?

While I can imagine the beauty and peace of island living, and there's plenty of opportunity here for that lifestyle, I will stay in the middle of the city because I like the pace and I prefer to be near to such things as live theatre, museums and good restaurants.

I do love an occasional weekend on one of the local islands, however. A nice bed&breakfast with a comfy porch and a view of the sea. The loud call of the gulls in the morning. The absolutely silent and dark night time. But I wouldn't want it as a steady thing.

An Island would be nice if the people were cool. The problem is, I used to live in Hawaii. It is a beautiful place that can lure you in.The people are mostly nice but any sort of social problems seem much more intence when you are living on an Island.Everything is felt more.I had to leave or be caught in the trap.
