not really, a low-grade fever is normal, but one that high is probably a virus running it's course.

When my youngest was teething she was running a fever 101-102 during the day and 103 + at night. I figured it was normal because her three siblings did the same while teething. One day she was shaking (almost like a seizure) and we took her to the hospital. It turned out that she had a pneumonia and two ear infections. Before I took her to the hospital I was alternating Tylenol and Motrin for the fever. Contact your doctor, he'll tell you what to look for and what to do.

It is normal for them to get fevers, but they're usually low-grade...meaning 99-100, if her fever doesn't go down soon, I would take her in to the doctor just to make sure that she's okay.

my duaghter always gets a fever when teething. some doctors say it is normal others will say it is not. How long has it been going on? If its been more than a day or two i would take him/her to the doctor. tylenol and ibuprofen work well for pain and fever.

low-grade fever, below 100. 101 or higher requires a doctor's visit.
